Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. garlic paste

  • 1/4 cup corn oil

  • 2 cups jasmine rice

  • 2 tsp. turmeric

  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • In a large saucepan heat the oil.
  • Add the rice.
  • Stir the rice until you start seeing the change of color; add the garlic and salt, until the rice turn into a deep white color.
  • Add the turmeric.
  • Add the water and stir.
  • Cover with the lid and turn to minimum temperature until it grows and softens.
