Ingredients

  • 1 inch frozen pie crust

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated provolone cheese

  • 1/8 tsp. Freshly ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp. Ground mustard

  • 3/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

  • 1 Jar drained artichoke hearts

  • 1/4 cup cup caramelized onions

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400F. Prick the bottom and sides of the crust with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool.
  • In a medium bowl, beat eggs lightly, milk, nutmeg, mustard, salt, and pepper with a wire whisk until well blended.
  • Incorporate caramelized onions, artichokes, and cheese.
  • Pour over prebaked and cool pie crust.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 400F and an additional 25 to 30 minutes at 350F, or until the knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
