Nutella Flan (Flan de Nutella)

Savor the simplicity and decadence of a Nutella Flan, where the fusion of chocolate hazelnut goodness meets the classic charm of flan. Preheat your oven to 350°F and create a golden caramel in a pot, pouring it into a 9'' cake pan. Blend 5 large eggs, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 13oz. of Nutella in a blender. Pour the silky mixture over the caramel, set the pan in a hot water bath, and bake for an hour. Cool, refrigerate for a few hours, then invert onto a platter for a taste of heavenly, Nutella-infused bliss.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 can evaporated milk

  • 1 can can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 jar 13oz. Nutella

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a pot make caramel until golden and pour it into a 9’’ cake pan.
  • In a blender put the rest of the ingredients and run it for a couple of minutes.
  • Pour the mix over the already-hard caramel.
  • Find a large wide pot and pour some hot boiling water.
  • Place the cake pan with the flan mixture gently.
  • Place it carefully in the oven and let it cook for one hour.
  • After one hour take it out and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Put it in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours.
  • Run a thin knife around the pan.
  • Place a plate on top and turn it upside down.
