Ingredients

  • 4 artichoke hearts

  • 2/3 cup flour

  • 1/4 cup corn starch

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. black ground pepper

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tbsp. milk

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • 1 lemon

Directions

  • Cut artichokes into four wedges. Drain well and pat dry with paper towel.
  • In a bowl whisk flour, salt, and eggs, gradually pour in milk and whisk until smooth.
  • Add artichoke wedges into the batter and toss to coat.
  • Fry in hot oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges
