Fluffy Quinoa: Light and fluffy grains cooked to perfection in savory chicken or vegetable stock, seasoned with just a hint of salt for a deliciously wholesome side or base for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quinoa

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable stock

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  • In abundant water rinse quinoa three times, then drain well.
  • Place a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add drained quinoa, stock, and salt.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until the liquid is absorbed, about 13-15 minutes.
  • Check with a fork to ensure the liquid has been absorbed, and there’s no more stock at the bottom of the pot.
  • Remove from heat and let it rest covered for another 5 minutes then fluff with a fork.
