Shrimp Fried Rice

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or pan over medium high heat, add vegetable oil.
  2. Make a scramble egg and reserve.
  3. Using the same sauce pan add oil, garlic, ginger, and shrimp, and stir quickly.
  4. Combine with the rice, scrambled eggs and add soy sauce.
  5. Season 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and the chopped scallions. Serve immediately.

  • 2 cups cold cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp
  • ½ cup cooked black quinoa
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 TBSP sesame oil
  • 1 TBSP garlic paste
  • 1/2 TBSP fresh ginger, grated, paste or finely chopped
  • 1 TBSP
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup scallions, sliced
  • 3TBSPsoy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
