Description
Preparation:
- In a medium saucepan, pour the cold water, cinnamon, orange peel, oats, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the liquid, about 5 minutes or so.
- Reduce the heat to low and salt.
- Add milk, vanilla, agave, or Maple syrup and combine, and let it simmer for five minutes.
- Remove from the heat, cover, and let stand for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon
