Homemade Manjar Blanco

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk

Description

Instructions:

  1. Pour condensed milk and evaporated milk into a heavy bottom saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Stir constantly with a spatula until filling approaches the consistency of thick caramel, about 30 minutes. Don’t stop stirring or the milk will stick to the bottom and burn.
  3. Remove from heat; mixture will firm up as it cools to room temperature.
