Fluffy Quinoa


  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  1. In abundant water rinse quinoa three times, then drain well.
  2. Place a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add drained quinoa, stock, and salt.
  4. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until the liquid is absorbed, about 13-15 minutes.
  5. Check with a fork to ensure the liquid has been absorbed, and there’s no more stock at the bottom of the pot.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest covered for another 5 minutes then fluff with a fork.
