Cocktail de Algarrobina



In Peru it wouldn’t be the holidays without a cocktail de Algarrobina. Let us celebrate with a holiday drink like eggnog. Instead of rum we use Pisco and instead of heavy cream we use evaporated milk and the defining ingredient, Algarrobina-a Peruvian carob.

3 shots Pisco
3 shots Coffee liqueur
1 shot Simple syrup
2 tbsp. Algarrobina (carob syrup)
¼ cup Evaporated Milk
2 handfuls of ice
Blend and add 1 whole egg

Pour and top with cinnamon.
